EAA Chapter 393 sponsors 1–2 attendees to EAA Air Academy at Oshkosh, WI every year possible — an action-packed camp full of extraordinary experiences, recognized by MSN Money as one of 10 summer camps “worth the money.”
2026 Sponsorships
We’re offering two sponsorships for 2026 — one for Explore Aviation Camp and one for Discover Flight Camp. Experienced aviation instructors help campers delve into flight through studies, hands-on demonstrations, flight simulation, and other exciting activities.
Choose your camp
Both sponsored sessions run July 24 – Aug 1, 2026 at the EAA Aviation Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Dive into hands-on aviation activities and hands-on STEM exploration: state-of-the-art flight simulators, workshop projects, aviation demonstrations, a behind-the-scenes museum tour, and classroom instruction on the principles of flight, aerodynamics, and flight planning. Weather permitting, campers get airplane and helicopter flights of their own.
Equivalent to the previous Basic and Advanced Air Academy camps.
Comprehensive ground-school style lessons covering aerodynamics, aircraft systems, navigation, meteorology, and aviation regulations — led by experienced, passionate aviators. Rounded out with team-building activities, a museum tour, and, weather permitting, airplane and helicopter flights.
